Moonlight Feast is my artistic exploration of mystery, transformation, and the captivating beauty that emerges when darkness and light interact.
Through an expressive combination of rich violet, delicate lavender, deep purple, and luminous white, I wanted to capture the enchanting atmosphere of a world transformed by moonlight.
Fluid abstract forms overlap and weave throughout the composition, creating an intricate relationship between movement, colour, and texture. The lighter brushstrokes appear almost illuminated against the deeper purple layers, introducing a captivating sense of depth and atmospheric mystery.
Rather than organising the composition around a recognisable subject, I allowed the expressive forms to develop freely, creating an abundant visual experience filled with movement and unexpected discoveries.
What fascinates me about moonlight is its remarkable ability to transform the ordinary into something extraordinary. Familiar surroundings become mysterious, shadows reveal unfamiliar shapes, and subtle details emerge that might otherwise remain unnoticed.
For me, Moonlight Feast represents this extraordinary relationship between perception and imagination.

I wanted this painting to capture that sense of discovery—a visual feast of expressive movement, layered colour, and atmospheric depth that encourages viewers to explore the composition without searching for one definitive interpretation.
