When I painted Pollen Breeze, I wasn’t trying to depict something seen—I was trying to give form to something felt. This piece is my interpretation of the quiet, invisible energy that moves through nature. You know those moments in spring when the air seems thick with life? When pollen dances on the wind, carried by forces we don’t see, but somehow feel? That’s what I tried to capture here.

The greens in this work represent foliage in motion—not as fixed shapes, but as a living blur, a pulse of growth. The bright bursts of yellow and orange? That’s the pollen, alive with potential, scattered by chance yet part of a greater order. I didn’t plan their placement; I let the brush move with the rhythm of that imagined breeze. I wanted the canvas to breathe, to feel like it’s moving even though it’s still.

There’s beauty in what’s microscopic, fleeting, and often overlooked. Pollen Breeze is about honoring that—the invisible cycles of renewal that carry us forward, whether we notice them or not. It’s layered and a little chaotic, but that’s how life is under the surface.
